In 1941 Chevrolet trucks set a sales record for that time – and that does not even include the 5,600 that were made especially for the U.S. Army. Completely redesigned for 1941, this 1/2 Ton Heavy Duty Deluxe Flatbed had a new massive 2-section grille made even more prominent by the lack of a hood ornament. It also featured especially thick bumpers and the new RPO 6-cylinder engine, now increased to 90 horsepower. It is no wonder it set the pace for both civilian and military use.
