The Czar’s jeweller was a genius. As the creator of decorative pieces for Russia’s royalty, the master craftsman and his assistants created dozens of unique Imperial Eggs. No two were the same and each is now worth a fortune. The process usually took an entire year of design, planning and fabrication. As the royal jeweller, he was able to retain some of the best goldsmiths, enamellers, silversmiths, jewellers and stone-cutters in the world. Together they invented jewellery techniques, mixed bold new colours and pushed their creativity and skill far beyond where they had gone before.

It’s fitting then that we pay tribute to Russia’s legendary royal egg art with some innovation of our own. The decorative, enamelled, Jewellery Egg evokes the style of the Romanov masterpieces. The entire egg rests elegantly on a gleaming, crystal-studded stand. What’s the big secret? The hinged egg flips open to reveal a luxury interior for displaying (and storing) a miniature Egg Pendant which dangles from a 24” cable chain.
